Two new Fair, Isaac partnerships make it easier and more affordable for consumer credit grantors to access the analytic power of LiquidCredit® service — while also profiting from the leading origination and processing technology.

Credit managers who use loan-automation software through Fiserv Lending Solutions or Harland Financial Solutions can now get instant online support from LiquidCredit's leading decisioning capabilities, including credit scoring and risk-based pricing from its Application Risk Models.

Fair, Isaac Vice President of Global Origination Solutions Raffi Kassarjian explains that the alliances give credit grantors single points of contact for the very best in today's origination decision and processing technology.

"With these partnerships, now a consumer credit grantor can get the most powerful and proven analytics and decisioning available, without the major time needed for development and implementation," says Kassarjian. "These partnerships individually combine the industry's most popular and sought-after resources. They give consumer credit grantors a faster, more streamlined and more cost-effective method of increasing approval rates and reducing charge-off losses."

The partnerships at work

In the alliances, Fair, Isaac will integrate its Web-based LiquidCredit service with Fiserv Lending Solutions' easyLENDER® Consumer/Commerical loan origination and processing solution or Harland Financial Solutions Decision Pro® credit application processing software.

Fiserv's easyLENDER Consumer/Commercial is an affordable yet comprehensive consumer-lending software solution that offers quick implementation and rapid training. This solution also offers robust functionality, impressive ease of use, and the flexibility that smaller to mid-range lenders need to increase loan volume and improve customer service.

"Fair, Isaac is the leader in decision technology," says Dan Welbaum, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Fiserv Lending Solutions. "This partnership will help our easyLENDER clients further increase their productivity and efficiency."

Harland Financial Solutions Decision Pro is a complete solution geared for medium-sized lenders. The solution expedites and facilitates consumer credit application processing by automating all of the labor-intensive, error-prone aspects of underwriting, while promoting consistency and improved portfolio quality.

"This new alliance and interface will save our customers time and money," says Lois Roberts, executive vice president of the Delivery Systems business unit of Harland Financial Solutions. "With one interface we can access a full complement of Fair, Isaac's Application Risk Models. Most importantly, our collaborative solution will enable customers to take their decision strategy and workflow to improved levels of efficiency."

LiquidCredit provides predictive models, credit reporting agency data and scores, and decision engines for more profitable and real-time credit origination decisions. It instantly evaluates credit risk and returns suggested credit decisions based on risk level.

Both Decision Pro and easyLENDER allow credit grantors to incorporate their own underwriting parameters and credit policies. In both cases, Fair, Isaac provides support of the Application Risk Models, including periodic updates and testing, plus client training and consulting services aimed at helping clients make the most effective use of the models.

Leveraging past successes

"Consumer credit grantors taking advantage of these alliances will be reaping the rewards of our experience and success in established partnerships with these two companies," says Kassarjian. "Having proven successful relationships with both companies and our older generation solutions, these new partnerships are especially exciting because we are able to apply our best practices for integrating complementary strengths."
