Ian Ayres is a preeminent expert on new methods of prediction and decision making that are not only changing the way decisions are made but the decisions themselves. He calls it Super Crunching—analyzing massive databases to impact real-world decisions. Hear him discuss the findings that led to his new book, Super Crunchers: Why Thinking-by-Numbers Is the New Way to Be Smart. Ian Ayres is the William K. Townsend Professor at Yale Law School and a Professor at Yale’s School of Management. He is also a columnist for Forbes magazine, a regular commentator on public radio’s Marketplace, and regularly writes columns for The New York Times. His research has been featured on Prime Time Live, Oprah and Good Morning America and in Time and Vogue magazines.

Managing Director & Practice Leader, Payments, TowerGroup

Ted Iacobuzio is managing director and practice leader for payments at TowerGroup. In this position Ted oversees the research of three services: Bank Cards, Global Payments, and Wholesale Banking. Ted has been covering the banking business for more than 15 years. Before joining TowerGroup, he was director of technology management services for Alex Sheshunoff Management Services of Austin, Texas, and New York bureau chief for London-based Lafferty Publications. At InterACT, he will chair the closing general session on Wednesday, April 30, presenting the results of an exclusive TowerGroup survey on Connected Decision Making in Turbulent Times.

Mark Greene joined Fair Isaac in 2007, becoming the company's fourth CEO). He was most recently VP of sales and distribution for financial services at IBM. Prior to that, Mark was General Manager of the Global Banking unit, IBM’s biggest industry vertical. And as a vice president of IBM’s SecureWay software business group, Mark played a central role in developing IBM’s e-commerce initiative, now known as WebSphere.

As Fair Isaac’s Chief Technology Officer, Bernhard Nann leads the company's product development, Quality Assurance, ASP operations, Information Technology, and product services. Bernhard was CEO of NAREX Inc. prior to its acquisition by Fair Isaac in 2003. He had founded NAREX eight years earlier and grew it into the largest provider of artificial intelligence-based predictive modeling solutions and services in the collections industry. Prior to that, Bernhard held several roles at TRW Information Systems and Services, which is now Experian. At InterACT he will present the vision behind the next generation of Fair Isaac solutions, built on a common SOA framework.
