Training: Education Guidelines

Training Need Indicators

Clients often request pre- and post-implementation training recommendations: When will they need (additional) training, how will they know when they need it, and what type of training is offered?

We recommend that clients contact us to assist them in assessing their training needs; however, answering "yes" to any of the following questions is a good indicator of a need for training:

  • Have you experienced employee turnover that directly impacts your knowledge base of the Fair Isaac product(s)?
  • Have you recently acquired a new portfolio or are buying an existing business that will promote growth within your organization and result in a need for training?
  • Does the employee base that supports the Fair Isaac product have less than 6 months of experience? Do they have gaps in their knowledge and skills?
  • Do your experienced personnel need "refresher" training?
  • Are your employees capable of addressing increasingly complex projects with the Fair Isaac product(s)? Are they seeking more advanced skills?
  • Are you ready to learn and capitalize on additional capabilities of the Fair Isaac products(s)?
  • Are you planning on upgrading over the next 6 months to the latest release and want to incorporate new functionality?
  • Do you have upcoming training needs, a tight timeline and insufficient internal training staff? Would you prefer to outsource your training?
  • Are you seeking to optimize the performance of your Fair Isaac product?
  • Has your team grown to include individuals that have not yet been trained directly by Fair Isaac product instructors?
  • Could you benefit from product training before engaging consulting services?
  • Have your employees repeatedly contacted Fair Isaac Product Support with general "how to" questions?
  • Are your employees assuming new roles with the Fair Isaac products, such as those that were previously performed by Fair Isaac consultants?

We offer advanced training courses for power users, supervisors, administrators, and developers, depending on the Fair Isaac product(s) of interest. We also encourage clients to attend the new courses that we develop for each major release of our products to ensure that knowledge and skills remain current, and new capabilities can be incorporated in your strategies. Contact Product Education or review our course catalog for specifics.
