Public Course Schedule

We offer a limited number of public courses at Fair Isaac's facilities.  Courses that are delivered at our training centers are typically organized for 'open enrollment,' meaning that clients and partners can purchase individual seats, and can expect to attend with other clients, partners, and potentially, Fair Isaac personnel.  We welcome clients' requests for additional public courses.

BLAZE ADVISOR FUNDAMENTALS
This class provides students with a solid foundation for developing their first Blaze Advisor enabled application. Students will write rules within the Integrated Development Environment, create functions in Blaze, and create easy-to-use templates that allow non-technical business users to create new, or modify existing rules. 4 day class at $3150 per person, held in a Fair Isaac office.

BLAZE ADVISOR RULE APPLICATION DEPLOYMENT
This course is designed to provide the skills required to deploy a Blaze Advisor Rule Application. It shall cover both introductory and advanced topics relevant to deploying Blaze Advisor Rule projects in either a single-user or multi-tier distributed enterprise environment. 3 day class at $2250 per person, held in our San Rafael, California office.

BLAZE ADVISOR ADVANCED RULE MAINTENANCE APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT
This course is designed to provide the skills required to develop advanced rules templates and to create rule maintenance application (RMA) for authoring and maintaining complex rules. The students will learn to use the built-in tools and Blaze Advisor API to develop a RMA application for complex rules. 3 day class at $2250 per person, held in our San Rafael, California office.

BLAZE ADVISOR SMARTFORMS
SmartForms is Fair Isaac Corporation's new technology, based on Blaze Advisor, for generating web-based applications with embedded, client-side business logic.  This new one-day course provides a complete introduction to the creation of SmartForms applications and their integration with Blaze Advisor rule projects using WebSteps to produce a full WebFlow application.

DEBT MANAGER - CORE FUNDAMENTALS
This course introduces the learner to the Debt Manager system and offers a solid foundation of key functionality that can be deployed. Regardless of whether you are brand new to Debt Manger or have used Debt Manager in the past, this is a great course to help you get up to speed quickly on the product, take your knowledge and experience to the next level and be able to deploy tactics you learned immediately. This course specifically covers the following areas: Overview, Account Enquiry, Account Enquiry for Web Configuration, Work Queues, Accounting Parameters, and System Administration.

DEBT MANAGER - DATABASE
This Database course will help teach you the main tables that support Debt Manager.  Through the use of exercises, you will be able to understand how to query the database and pull out key information from a particular table or group of tables and perform table linking.  Also, you will learn the main ways Debt Manager uses queries to accomplish certain system activities

DEBT MANAGER - ROUTEMASTER
This course teaches participants the basic components of taking existing sample business account workflows and converting them into routers and testing them in RouteMaster. It is specifically designed to provide students with an introduction to the functions of building routers from the ground up in this unique graphical tool that easily allows management to visually view business flows.

DEBT MANAGER - OVERVIEW
The Product Overview is specifically designed to introduce students to the fundamental concepts behind the Debt Manager system.  Students will participate in an open discussion about the Debt Manager collection and recovery philosophy; understand key terminology and functionality and the benefits available in the product.

DEBT MANAGER 3.9-6.2 UPGRADE TRAINING
This course teaches participants new functionality that is now available with the 6.2 release. For those clients that are thinking of upgrading or already have, this will be a time to learn about how all the latest functionality can really benefit how you do business.

FALCON FRAUD MANAGER RULE AUTHORING FUNDAMENTALS
The Rule Authoring Fundamentals course provides the skills required to create and maintain Falcon® Fraud Manager business rules using the 4.x version. Participants will learn how and when the rules impact transactions in their processing environment, as well as how rules are implemented to create Falcon cases, send authorization responses, and to track cardholder usage through User Attributes. Participants will also learn about rule validation, activation, promotion, and deployment as well as the use of functions and reports.

FALCON FRAUD MANAGER RULE AUTHORING ADVANCED
This course provides the techniques to enhance existing rule writing skills. Through case studies and exercises, participants will learn advanced rule language logic and syntax, rule implementation, execution, troubleshooting and common errors encountered by rule writers. This course also covers User Attributes and TransMemory rules and how to incorporate complex fraud trends into advanced Falcon® Fraud Manager rules.

FALCON FRAUD MANAGER RULE AUTHORING ACCELERATED
This course is designed as a comprehensive study of both Fundamentals and Advanced rule writing techniques. Through case studies and exercises, participants will review the basics of rule writing and go on to learn advanced rule writing techniques with a focus on TransMemory. The course discusses creating rules from rule narratives and troubleshooting errors in both rule logic and syntax. The course provides attendees the opportunity to redesign and troubleshoot rules they may currenty have in production as well as gain instructor assistance writing new rules.

RMS CORE FUNDAMENTALS: NG 2.0 AS/400
This course introduces the learner to the end user RMS system and offers a solid foundation of the RMS System Maintenance. This course provides the new RMS system administrator the tools they will need to begin the RMS adventure. This course is delivered to new employees or a new project team and includes the following courses Collector/Recoverer Overview, System Maintenance, Agency Management, Batch Processing, Financial Posting, Query and Decision Manager.

RMS CORE FUNDAMENTALS: Classic 6.3 / AS400
This course introduces the learner to the end user RMS system and offers a solid foundation of the RMS System Maintenance. This course provides the new RMS system administrator the tools she will need to begin the RMS adventure. This course is delivered to new employees or a new project team and includes the following courses: Collector/Recoverer Overview, System Maintenance, Agency Management, Batch Processing, Financial Posting, Query and Decision Manager.
